Note to self:
1. Please at least try to be humble when dealing with subordinates below you. The arrogance is so transparent.
2. Covering your asses will not help the problem; it'll only show you're incapable of handling the truth.
3. Maneuvering the direction so it'll jive with your action items is very tactfully done; just don't let the other party know what you're actually doing or it'll look VERY selfish.
Maybe if their message is carefully explained; maybe if the rebuttals are not so defensive, we would be walking out of the meeting room with no urge of killing people. Words are important. Doesn't mean that when you're on top, you couldn't care less about all the others who are just as equally important.
Anyway. I'll be sure to take this as an experience so I'll know how to react when similar things happen in the future. I'd have to say, my boss handled the meetings very well. I would've exploded or at least rolled my eyes and throw a cynical sentence or two. I guess that's why he's the boss and I'm the rookie. heh.
Impiana KLCC has a parquet floor. I hate parquet floors. Gotta love the room though:)
Couldn't resist ordering in-room dining. Le Meridien has the best hotel burger so far in my opinion.
Tomorrow will be a half-day meeting and then back to Kerteh. OK U's SO driving on Thursday evening to KL, I'm so bloody tired. Wondering if I can slot in an hour with Tuan Dokter gigi before heading back tomorrow.
